Imagine the moment a feather-weight is practicing his right hook
Our mother and father are part of us
They are part of our journey
Then we are alone
Maybe we are ready
It is not a matter of being strong but able to bite.
Our obsession is the battle to fight
Now we are understanding what we have to understand, we cannot wait longer
We don’t have any more lesson to learn
We feel freedom and a firm belief.
If now we are not afraid we have learned the lesson
Imagine this experience as infinite. And finally something is happening.
Now we put the center into focus, we are not scared anymore.
A childish invocation is being born. It is anachronistic, Ridiculous, Resounding, Inexpressible.
But it will miraculously succeed.
Can I try again? Am I in the light? Can you see me?

BIOGRAPHY

Balletto Civile formed in 2003 by Michela Lucenti, is a permanent company of performers motivated by artistic inspiration and creative need. The focus of the creative approach is on researching on a kind of total scenic language where theatre and dance coming out from deep relationship between performers. Since 2009 BC has been on residence at Teatro Due in Parma. From 2015 BC is supports by Teatro della Tosse in Genova. BC won ANCT Award in 2010 and 2012.
