What is the meat show? Meat is first and foremost a meeting between two authorship: that of the playwright who wrote for us a text, defined by their own visions also scenic, and our personal poetry. We chose to approach F. M. Franceschelli abstracting certain recurring images in his dramaturgy and transforming them into the main guidelines of the scenery-directing. The structure original linear dramaturgical we stressed textual asides, trying to open narratives in the narrative. We could say that abstraction and extraction were the first coordinates on which we operated. Our scenic writing, directing and interpretation was also based on a sound and music design developed for us at work by Ivan Talarico, write, writing, writing for writing, able to suggest additional narrative suggestions. We believe that this meeting will be a “translation” of F. M. Franceschelli through our bodies and our poetry.
