FishEye is a musical, visual, textual, auditory evocation. The project evolved through the last five years of common work of the artistic collective Bluemotion, based at the cultural centre Angelo Mai in Rome, producing their interdisciplinary shows. Fish’s compositions for piano, synthetiser and ensembles, have gone through many transformations before they were filtered and re-assembled by this new musical lens, which magnified and changed all details investing them with a new light.

With the collaboration of Defa (alias Cristiano De Fabritiis, musical producer with Fish, also his co-author, drums player and vibraphonist), the pieces included here have been selected and re-arranged in their present form, whereas Giorgina Pi has contributed the visual suggestions enriching this project. FishEye is also enhanced by the presence of musicians who have shared the history of Bluemotion, still held together by the power of a timeless evocation.

BLUEMOTION is a group born in Rome within the artistic and political experience of Angelo Mai, a center for independent art production. Performers, filmmakers, musicians and visual artists come together to create starting from their own suggestions, comparing and debating their visions on the present and on art.

The works of Bluemotion are always collective creations, a result of the exchange of views of the group members. Fish is Andrea Pesce, pianist, composer and musical producer – he has worked with Riccardo Sinigallia, Tiromancino, Carmen Consoli, Raf, Pino Marino, Zibba.
