The mise en space of Peppa™ realizes she’s a pig – The first phase of Transiberian Education, a project on the relationship between education and entertainment, and in particular on the influence that television exerts over imagination since childhood, through programs for children and cartoon characters, up to the role that they play in education policies and artistic production in contemporary society. The project -lead by playwright and director Davide Carnevali with the actors Fabrizio Martorelli, Silvia Giulia Mendola and Alberto Onofrietti- tests a working model in which the construction of the show develops through rehearsals in different periods, not conditioned by deadlines, to allow the idea to grow to maturity until it will be ready to take form on stage before an audience.

BIOGRAPHY

Davide Carnevali (1981) is a multi-awarded playwright, in Italy and abroad. His works have been presented in different festivals and international seasons and have been translated into eleven languages. Fabrizio Martorelli (1978) is graduated from the Piccolo Teatro School in 2008. During these years he worked with Piccolo Teatro di Milano, Teatro Stabile di Bolzano, Astra Teatro in Turin.
