La posibilidad que desaparece frente al paisaje is a theater piece to be read and to be observed. The pieces is thought as an open book, where the imperceptible world of atmospheres, thoughts and memories are described. Meanwhile, the scene is organized as a model, a naïve game of representations, nice and fragile. An empty stage is presented to the audience, occupied at first, only by a screen over which is projected a fragmented narrative journey across ten european cities. Ten landscapes that head the public towards the darkness and the violent territories of people’s minds. Distinguished and famous personalities are presented, cultural fetich figures as Michel Houellebecq, Pol B. Preciado, Spencer Tunick or Zygmunt Bauman, as well as anonymous people which share with them the same present time.
BIOGRAPHY
El Conde de Torrefiel is a Barcelona-based project, founded in 2010 and headed by Tanya Beyeler (Switzerland, 1980) and Pablo Gisbert (Spain, 1982). Their creations are seeking for a visual and textual aesthetic where theatre, choreography, literature and visual arts coexist. Their starting point is a synchronic analysis of present, an interrogation, as being living in the immediate, about the possibilities of our time.
